I like that one, cried Miffy. It’s colourful and bright. Are those shapes cut with scissors? I think I could be right.

Excited for another Field Trip Friday?!
Summer is just around the corner, and that means that families finally have the opportunity go out and travel. These past few weeks, we’ve been going on family-friendly field trips that are not only fun, but also educational! This week, we will be taking a trip over to Utrecht, in the Netherlands, to visit one of the world’s most beloved rabbits, Miffy.
Miffy was created by Dutch author Dick Bruna. Dick Bruna would come up with stories to tell his oldest son before bed. Some of these stories were about a little, white rabbit who enjoyed scurrying around their garden. This little, white rabbit ultimately became the inspiration for one of Dick Bruna’s book characters, and Miffy was born! Miffy’s positive attitude and willingness to experience new things is what made her such a huge hit among children all over the world.
The Miffy Museum was previously known as the Dick Bruna House, which was founded in 2006. In the course of some time, Miffy and her family and friends began to take over the museum until, eventually, the whole museum became dedicated to the white rabbit. In 2016, the museum was renamed to The Miffy Museum. The museum offers a space for kids to explore and interact with the space around them and get a glimpse of Miffy in her home and her life.
