Born in Springfield, Massachusetts, Theodor Seuss Geisel is a well known children’s author and illustrator. His work is broadly considered to be some of the most popular children’s stories of all time. To commemorate his life and work, The Amazing World of Dr. Seuss was opened in 2017!
The goal of The Amazing World of Dr. Seuss is to bring the stories of Theodor Geisel to life! People visiting are welcomed with museum floors covered from top to bottom in brightly colored paintings and interactive exhibits that are fun for the whole family. Beloved characters like the Lorax, the Grinch, and Yertle the Turtle are just a few of the many fun characters you will meet when you visit the museum!
